Biography​
The Village of Solvay has always been the home of Ty Marshal and his family. Raised in the Village, he graduated from Solvay Schools and studied theater and visual art in college. Ty has crafted a career in the non-profit sector of arts, culture and community development, and has worked with various local organizations including: Community Folk Art Center, Peaceful People, Inc., Say Yes, Syracuse City Ballet and Dia Art Foundation. He currently serves as Managing Director for Rarely Done Productions, a local not for profit theater company, and as Artist in Residence/Curator at the Syracuse Technology Garden. He returned to Solvay five years ago and has been focused on updating his home, spending time with family and focusing on economic
and community development within the Village and throughout the
greater CNY region.
